The Organizing Committee of PREMUS 2019 encourage, especially ICOH members, to submit Symposium proposals that are directly related to the Conference Themes.

Symposia are designed to present experts’ opinion and experiences around a specific issue and stimulate discussion. Symposia typically include four to five presenters and are expected to have the following characteristics: 60-90 min duration, 10-15 minutes for each presentation followed by Q&A sessions to engage participants in the discussion.

Notification of Acceptance: 19 April 2019
Acceptance of offer for your presentation (Symposia Organizers and Presenters only): 30 April 2019

Submission rules for Symposia

When submitting a Symposium proposal please include the following information:

  • The Theme under which the proposal is submitted
  • Symposium title and aim
  • Name and affiliation of the Symposium organizer, ICOH membership code
  • A brief description of the Symposium theme
  • A list of the proposed speakers and a statement that specifies that they have agreed to participate if the Symposium is accepted

Please attached the proposal as a Microsoft Word file (*.doc or *.docx) or Rich Text Format (*.rtf)
The deadline for submission of symposium proposals is 24th March 2019.
No changes can be made to the submitted proposal after the submission deadline.
Proposals submitted later than the submission deadline will not be considered.
Symposia proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
Symposia Organizers and all Presenters involved must have their registration fees paid in full before being placed in the program within the due date.

Symposium Submission Form

Symposium submissions must have a symposium abstract and separate smaller abstracts for each presenter.

All fields must be completed for the abstract to be considered by the review committee.
